Let restoration begin!

We are delighted to report that at approx. 19:00 Hrs Friday 22nd May, after earlier in the afternoon entering Cammell Lairds famous #4 Dry-Dock (The Alabama Dock) the Daniel Adamson was all secure on the blocks, shores in place and all dried out.
Our Naval architect, John Pope, who will be superintending the whole re-build on behalf of DAPS reported via email and accompanying image last night:
“Safely on blocks and shored up – all set for restoration!”…..We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
