Story & Song performance

Story and song written and presented by Bernard Eden Thomas, Danny volunteer at Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge on May 19th at 12noon and 2pm during our family fun day and also at Northwich Festival on 14/15 July.

“Two Danny’s and a Load of Hot Air” is a light hearted

presentation about the history of steam ships and boats

using three main characters; Daniel Adamson the man, S.S.

Daniel Adamson (the Danny) and Steam. It starts at the

beginning of the eighteenth century and ends in the

present day.

The stories and songs are sometimes funny, sometimes

sad but always aimed at being interesting and entertaining,

spanning the industrial revolution, several wars, failures,

successes and, very often, good luck or misfortune.

Joining in with the songs, questions, barracking and

heckling are all equally encouraged.

All ages are welcome. from small child to grumpy old man,

which pretty much describes the presenter (yes, both).
