As there is no public parking available at Sutton Weaver we operate a Park & Ride coach from Anderton Boat Lift car park (CW9 6FW) and take you to the Danny at Sutton Weaver, that way your car is waiting for you at the end of the cruise.  The coach will depart from Anderton Boat Lift car park at 1115 hrs

Please note:  At Anderton Boat Lift, access to or from the Danny berth is via a steep, step-free, path from the visitor centre and car park at the higher level. This may prove challenging to those with mobility difficulties arriving or departing on sailings at Anderton Boat Lift.

ANDERTON BOAT LIFT – SUTTON WEAVER SWING BRIDGE WITH LIVE MUSIC                                13TH SEPTEMBER 2025, 1200 – 1600 HRS - cruise duration approximately 4 hours and our coach will be waiting for you at Sutton Weaver to return you to Anderton Boat Lift car park.

On this four-hour cruise we will leave from our berth below the Anderton Boat lift on a picturesque cruise along the Weaver Navigation to our berth at Sutton Weaver while enjoying live music from duo Le-Verg will be performing an array of classics and modern tunes from Maroon Five, Eta James, Dua Lipa and many more.  They also perform some of their beautiful original music.  There will also be real ale on draught available on the cruise from our friends at Hush Brewing Co

Anderton Boat lift opened in 1875 to transfer narrow boats the 50ft between the River Weaver and the Trent & Mersey Canal - today the traffic is mainly pleasure craft. The area is a scheduled monument and award-winning visitor destination.  Our berth is just below the famous lift, we are too big to actually go on the lift, but you will get a great view of the amazing structure on this cruise. Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge, Frodsham to Canning Dock, Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool 14th September 2025.  1030 – 1600 hrs.

This unique five-and-a-half-hour sailing, gives you the chance to experience fascinating history and wonderful scenery as we experience three separate waterways, the Weaver Navigation, Manchester Ship Canal and River Mersey before locking in to Canning Dock within the Royal Albert Dock complex.

We operate a Park & Ride from Anderton Boat Lift to take you to the Danny at Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge (there is no public parking at the swing bridge) and our coach will take you back to your car at the end of the cruise.
